Term 2 Week1 Today we did play make create and the book was BE YOU! I and Shirley worked together! The thing we did design and we made a poster thing about us!!!  We got a box and cut it in half and then we pasteled it like a rainbow! It was really hard sharping over the pastel. My favorite thing about It is our butterflies because we colored in butterflies and wrote describing words about ME!! I think what worked well was everything really because I and Shirley worked well together! I would change the sharpie because it didn't really go through the pastel and so you can't really see.

Numbots & TT Rock Stars

Term 2, Week 1 2021 During Term 1 we have been practicing our addition and subtraction knowledge through the online program called NumBots.  At the start, it was super easy but progressively got more challenging. I am now on the Gold level of NumBots.   I enjoy NumBots because it's really fun and it helps a lot with my adding and subtracting. On the story, I find some quite hard and challenging but it's still really really fun! What I find challenging is the challenge place because it has a lot of levels to pass and some of them are really hard!! This week we have started TTRockstars.  This is an online program which helps us to learn our timetables. First, we had to complete 10 Studio games which were really hard because they had basic facts right up to 12 x 12. Now that the hard part is over we can play in the Garage and start learning our tables. I think that TTRockstars is really fun and a great learning experience for Times Tables! I find studio quite challenging becau

Play, Make, Create!

Today we did Play, Make, Create! The book was Up The Creek and I worked with Alena and we did a design and made a propeller to steer and control the canoe. I think that the propeller that we made went well because it can spin around like a propeller actually does! I think that I would change the size of the canoe we made but otherwise, I think we did well.  The propeller was very hard to make because we had to hot glue the things together and then stick a skewer through the middle.  We also made a manual on how to use the remote we made and how to turn it on and what not to do.
