 This term I chouse to do an inquiry on Animal Life Cycles. First, we had to look at frogs and do research on them, and then we did some slides and I did the slids in homeroom time. Then I started on doing my poster on praying mantis. My poster took a long time to do because I drew a big pitcher of a praying mantis. I had to do some research on praying mantis so I could write it on my poster.      

 This week for chapter chat I decided to do art. One of the tasks that I did was to draw rock, Abbey. I like what I came out with. Shirley and I did the same thing side by side and it was her idea but she said she wanted me to do it with her. We did a flip the flap from Abbey to rock Abbey. I think my dad will be proud of me because I put some of his rock bands in there.  

 This week we are doing Whoogle. Whoogle is where we have a lot of things on a slide and on whoogle we had a Moji Mystrey and I got the angle. The  angle is Yeallow, happy,smiling, has arched eyes and has a halo on her head. I liked this. On the last clue Shirley and I got stuck so we got a dit of help from the teacher. 

 This week we are doing whoogle. In our whoogle, we had  Letter of the week. Letter of the week is where wehave to put all of these words on a silde and this week's letter is M. My favriot letter. This is my work!!! 

 We had whoogle this week!! Whoogle is a whetu google and we love it! On whoogle, we had an Astronauts mystery. I got, Hugo Copper, he is 18 and American and he has blonde hair!!! I worked by myself dut kind of do it with Shirley and Lola.   

 This week instead of doing our constellation doc we are doing our whoogle. Whoogle is our whetu google where we had all of this stuff on a slide and we have to do it. this week we had a Roll A Story for our can-dos. We had to get a dice and roll it and we had a lot of options I rolled a rabbit camp and got eaten by a snake. Here is my story...  “ Good night my lonely self” . A few minutes later... “Ahhhhh have to go to the toilet” Russel Russel “what was that? I think I will go this way instead and dig a long drop. Crack! Ahhhh! This is more creepy than I thought. Russel, hey hello anyone there.  Hello, Sunny something said mysteriously. Ahhh mummmmm . Help!! What is that you are mum yeah it's mum. Please stop mum I need to be a loan I don't think you would want to see this… But I am not mother  the thing said. Then who are you? Come out and show yourself. If you say so. The thing said again. Russel Russel. Ahhhhhhhh!! Mummy snake. I am only a little kid I am only four plea

 This week for our options I choose to do since on crystals and so yesterday we make Borax Crystals. I am in a group with Shirley, Haven, Lola, and Carmen. We had to get boiling water and borax and mix it in together and so the borax will dissolve. Before we had to have some string and a popsicle stick and a  pipe cleaner. We tied the string on the popsicle stick and tied the pipe cleaner to the string and then we designed the pipe cleaner so it was a spiral. Then we put the pipe cleaner in the cup with the melted borax and let it wait.        

  This week instead of using our constellation doc we are doing whoogle. whoogle is kind of a whetu google. On our whoogle, we had to do the race runners mystery for a must-do. I ended up with CLAIRE WHITE.     I found this easier than the first one because coding is not my thing.

 This week we had to do a math mystery and this mystery was The Missing Slice Of Cake and I got Courtney chin. I found this really hard and difficult to do because we had to do coding. And I find coding really hard to do.   

This week instead of using our constellation doc we are doing whoogle. whoogle is kind of a whetu google. On our whoogle, we had a Letter Of  The week to do and the letter was G. we had to...  I found it long but enjoyable. I had to do remove a lot of backgrounds on an app called transparent background remover and I found it really helpful.

On our whoogle, we had to do a Te Wiki o te Reo Maori Challenge. in this challenge we had to make a slide doc or google drawing. I decided to do a slide. on the slide, I had to put what a phrase meant and what it was in Maori. my phrase was  k arawhiua.  you will soon see what it means...    

 This week we had to do our writing sample and I writ  my writing my sample about  how Madeleine and I heard a dragon outside and Maddie went out to have a look and she got stolen by Queen coral and she dropped Maddie in the ocean and so I had to go and save her and then Madeleine and I got  saved by Tsunami and in the end, we got killed by Blister with her poisoned tail     

 This week we were learning how to use apostrophes. At first, I got the last two slides wrong but in the end, I fixed it. I found the first two slides a little bit easy. I didn't really like doing this because how to use apostrophes isn't really my learning comfort but I kind of like to get out of my comfort zone. 

 This week for chapter chat I did make there were two tasks in make and I picked the word barf. In the book, ross was at guitar lessons, and his teacher noticed that ross was keeping something from him and so he asked what was wrong and Ross spat out a huge list of what was on his chest.  This is my finished task  This inside my bucket of barf 

 This week in my homeroom we continued our learning in our inquiry groups. I am in Animal life Cycles  I really enjoy learning about how different animals grow and how they are larva before and adult. In this task, I had to put boxes with words in them to complete the sentences and you had to put more boxes to tell what larva and Pupa are. I think this helped improve my learning of animal life cycles.
